Mexus-Trinidad Joint Venture
Mexus Enterprises S.A. de C.V. as managing partner of the Mexus-Trinidad Joint Venture has the authority to effect operational changes necessary for the benefit of the Joint Venture. A complete review of all aspects regarding the procedures and methods utilized by the operations partner of the Mexus-Trinidad Joint Venture has now been completed. Several changes are being instituted including the reassignment of responsibilities of the operations partner who will no longer participate in any aspects regarding the Joint Venture operations and will no longer be on site. The Joint Venture will now focus on processing ore from several open pit areas as further geological evaluations are conducted.
The Company has retained the services of Paul Pelke, geologist, to prepare a Canada National lnstrument 43-101 geological report covering the Joint Venture properties. Mr. Pelke noted the known history of the area dating back to the Spaniards who mined the area 350 years ago, as well as, recent history over the past twelve years. Mexus expects the results of this report to indicate proven reserves sufficient to identify the Joint Venture properties as a first class mining area. Mr. Pelke will also engage the assistance of Harry Slack, geologist, to evaluate the open pit areas for the NI 43-101 report and production purposes.

Mexus acquired Merrill Crowe gold and silver recovery equipment for the Julio Open Pit Project. The known potential production areas are being continually evaluated and have identified ore suitable for processing. The Julio Placer Project is producing on a continuous basis with acceptable results. The Santa Elena Julio Project diamond drilling program is going well with the guidance of Mr. Slack.
